I Love You More Than Anything (2019)

Crafted after Frida Kahlo’s Wounded Deer (1946), this piece was shot with a Glock 17 pistol. This is a portrait of the state of my heart during the year I dated and loved an alcoholic.

A musical strain is the sound of a piece of music as it is played or performed. In this installation, the music is experienced visually through the "strain" of shadow and light.
